Hello Rotarians!

Join the Social Committee for a Pups and Cups event!  Saturday Septmeber 5th, from 9-10:30am at The Park City Library Park and Lucky Ones!

Allison Williams will generously provide pup cups of steamed milk for the pups! Being your pooch and join us for a fun park playtime and coffee with your fellow rotarians!  No dogs required!

Park City Rotary's Signature Event! Part community celebration, part fundraiser, Miners Day is our largest event of the year. Stay tuned for opportunities to volunteer, march in the parade, and exhibit in City Park.

Based on recent events in our community we will have a panel of experts share with us local resources to help ourselves and others deal with depression, mental health and suicide.

Dan Compton, Summit County Library Director, will share updates about the Kimball Junction library's move and expansion.

Help Inspire Park City's 5th graders at Recycle Utah's Sustainability Festival!

Volunteers will caperone a group of approximately 8-15 fifth grade students as they rotate through eight different sustainability stations.  You'll listen to the presentations alongside the students and help guide your group from one station to the next.  Each presentation lasts approximately 15 minutes.

Morning Shift:   8:30-11:30 AM - 4 volunteers needed

Afternoon Shift:   12:15-3:00 PM - 4 volunteers needed

Peace House provides survivor-focused, comprehensive services including clinical therapy, safe housing, sexual assault services, children’s services, and prevention education for individuals, families, and our community.

Peace House Tour | 1:00–1:30 PM
Rotary members are invited to tour Peace House and learn more about the important services it provides to our community.

Pantry Stocking & Organization | 1:30–3:30 PM
Following the tour, six Rotary volunteers will help stock and organize the Peace House pantry, helping ensure that needed food, household supplies, and other essential items are readily available for the individuals and families Peace House serves.

Wade Williams is a retired nuclear engineer, living in Saratoga Springs who will educate us on current day energy options Utah is considering in our future, including nuclear energy, fossil fuels, and renewable power. Wade aims to educate not advocate, and has spoken with numerous Rotary clubs in Utah as well as at Weber State University. Wade lived and worked in the San Francisco Bay area before retiring to Utah, where he gave public education addresses to Rotary and other groups on nuclear power and similar topics.

Join fellow Rotarians in supporting local families through our Mobile Food Pantry project. Volunteers can participate in one or both parts of the project.

Help at the Food Pantry to load the truck with food and supplies for the afternoon's mobile distribution.

Mobile Food Pantry | 3:45–6:15 PM
6 volunteers needed
Join us at New Engine House Apartments to help with the Mobile Food Pantry and distribute food to members of our community.

Trivia Night

Black Rock Mountain Resort- On the Rocks Bar (Resort has plenty of parking and located on 248, 3 minutes past the US 40 entrance ramp)

Join us for Trivia Night! Let's put together a team to prove we are FULL of useless knowledge!  Please register for this event and feel free to bring a non-rotarian to join the fun!  It would be great to have a team or two! All players and guests must be 21+ due to local bar and alcohol laws.

To play is free! Food and Beverage is responsibility of the rotarian.

Join Rotary at the Wasatch Back Book Festival!

Membership Director, Bob Shallenberg, will introduce us to a few new (and seasoned) members.

Joe Ryan, Founder of GRA, a data center consulting and program management company, will provide us with some education around data center architecture and infrastructure.

Our Foundation Committee will be sharing details about annual giving, the Polio project, and other interesting topics. And they are bringing the iron lung!
