The Park City Rotary Club is now accepting applications for its annual small grants program. New this year will be special Impact Grants. The club's Small Nonprofit Grants Program is designed to provide financial support for specific projects and scholarships in Summit County that merit the club’s support by meeting Rotary International’s core values that help guide the organization and mold our culture. The grant application process is open now through July 30, 2019. Park City non-profits are invited to RSVP to attend the club's Tuesday, July 9 luncheon meeting to learn more.

Since its inception in 1980, Park City Rotary Club has provided over $1 million in support to the local community through a host of programs including scholarships for Interact high school students, annual grants to small non-profits and larger impact grants.

PARK CITY ROTARY CLUB SMALL NONPROFIT GRANTS GUIDELINES
The Park City Rotary Club places a priority on those nonprofit programs that best reflect Rotary International’s mission and core values.

Service
We believe that peace comes from understanding our world, which is a bi-product of service activities and our programs. Service is one of the main elements of our mission and the initiatives we pursue within each of our individual clubs fuels this culture. There is no greater satisfaction than that which comes from serving others.

Fellowship
We believe that grouped efforts combine to benefit all of humanity. Strength in numbers provides more access to resources and expands our overall perspective of the world. Fellowship generates greater tolerance of others and transcends all boundaries, including those of race, gender, and nationality.

Diversity
We believe that, in the pursuit of service to others, we can accomplish international unity. Through the diversity of our members, our organization is able to broaden the scope of the activities, programs, and service we can provide. We encourage a diverse community within the individual clubs that are part of Rotary International.

Integrity
Accountability, honesty, and ethics are the backbone of our organization and something we expect from each of our leaders and members. We encourage all members to adhere to the highest standards in both professional and personal relationships with others. Fairness and respect are grounded in The Four-Way Test and we must conscientiously steward the resources entrusted to us.

Leadership
We believe in the development and nurturing of current and future leaders in our community. As a global fellowship, we hold leadership qualities in the highest regard amongst Rotarians as we strive to implement our core values throughout the world.

Park City Rotary Club Small Nonprofit Grants can support only those programs and projects which take place within Summit County.  The Park City Rotary Club Small Nonprofit Grants program has limited funds and includes a subjective review of applications. Note that the application process is competitive.  A newly completed application must be submitted each year. A grant award in one year does not guarantee an award for the following year. A grant award is made at the sole discretion of the Park City Rotary Club and the decision of the Club is final.

IMPACT GRANT *New for 2019*
The Park City Rotary Club will award up to two  applications with an Impact Grant, which will range in amount from $5,000 to $10,000. The purpose of the Impact Grant is to help a local nonprofit make a positive change in our community with a larger grant award.
