Garlic Mustard Games - June 16, 2026
Garlic Mustard isn't just a weed - it's an ecological threat. It outcompetes native plants, degrades soil, reduced wildlife and pollinator habitat quality, and makes forests more vulnerable to drought & disease.
The Garlic Mustard Games is a summer long competition. Each year the Park City Rotary clubs join together to join in the fun and competition. Join us on June 16th at Glenwood Cemetery at 9:00 am for a morning of weeding out this noxious plant. Bring your own gloves and water.
Read with Rotary
To promote literacy, Park City Rotarians read books in class to all first graders at Trailside Elementary School and McPolin Elementary School in the Park City School District 4 times per school year. Through a district grant, we are able to provide a copy of these books to each student to take home to be their own. Some books are bilingual Spanish-English. A Rotary-branded sticker is placed inside the cover of each book indicating that This Book Belongs to Student Name. By helping kids build a home library, we hope to encourage the love of books and reading at home with family members. Mike Florance sends out the sign up when dates are scheduled for these reading opportunities. If you want to learn more, please reach out to Mike.
Meals on Wheels Delivery Route
Park City Rotary has adopted a weekly route to deliver meals to homebound seniors in our community. Volunteers must become certified volunteers through Meals on Wheels, including a background check and training. Volunteers must also be able to commit to one delivery day per month. If you are interested in this opportunity please contact Brian Buck for more details.
Join a Committee!
Miners Day is Park City Rotary's largest annual fundraiser, supporting a wide variety of community grants and scholarships. A number of committees will welcome new pairs of hands.
